CAMO associate

Østnes Helicopters continue to expand in the Nordic region and is now strengthening our organization

​

The Østnes Helicopters Group consist of Kjell A. Østnes AS, Kjell A. Østnes AB, Østnes XO AS, Norwegian Camo Support AS, Østnes Aero AS og Dragonfly AS.

In addition to maintenance services, Østnes Helicopters is the Nordic distributor for Airbus Helicopters and Safran Helicopter Engines, we supply new helicopter, lease and financing solutions, we assist in the purchase and sale of used helicopters, we supply all spare parts and components both new and refurbished, repaired or exchange solutions, technical support and CAMO services – in other words, a One Stop Shop for Nordic helicopter operators. We currently have a total of 35 employees distributed mainly between the technical base at Eggemoen and the head office in Oslo.

As an integral part of our Nordic expansion plans, we have gathered all our technical activities and expertise in the Aviation- and technology park at Eggemoen Airport.

The MRO center is approved by the Norwegian CAA and is also an Airbus approved service provider and a Safran approved engine shop. The center, which is totally independent from the HC operators, is now operational and consist of a highly qualified and international team in new and up-to date facilities with a great location.  

​

As per today, we offer CAMO services to light Airbus helicopters such as the AS350/ H125, EC 120 and EC 130 with an aim to expand our services to eventually cover intermediate Airbus helicopters.

The Eggemoen team is not only vital in providing our customers with solutions to their technical needs. They are also acting as an important link between our customers and Airbus.

As we seek to strengthen our technical team we are now looking for a CAMO Associate who is passionate about quality, structure and aviation and who are energized by a fast pace and a varied work day.

​

The position will be related to our CAMO activities located at Eggemoen and the tasks will include documentation work, preparation and revisions of maintenance programs, processing and implementation of Airworthiness Directive (AD) / Service notices (SB), preparing maintenance orders, as well as other tasks related to CAMO.

​

For the right candidates we can offer a good overall compensation package.

Desired Qualifications

You should have

  • Technical understanding

  • Background from aviation

  • Knowledge of aviation regulations

  • User experience with Gannet, MRX or similar software for technical follow-up

 

We will be able to offer relevant training, where we capitalize on our position as Approved Airbus Distributor

Requirements

  • A clean record

  • Driving license 

  • English skills (oral and writing) 

  • familiarity with IT applications

  • You must satisfy the legal requirements for access to Avinor's airports          ​
